[Dragon Quest 2 Markers]

im boutta to go to bed but this art is so poppin i just have to leave a review !

everything is so detailed but its presented in so simple yet flamboyant, which gives everything an interesting contrast which is a treat to look through !!!

and your ability to show perspective and depth is genuinely impressive.
the drawing is uncluttered but active and full of life !!!

and this was done on a plain piece of white paper!???!?
dude i thought the desk in the background with the pen was apart of the drawing for a sec lol

its so cute but not so much it makes it obnoxious, it maintains a level of maturity for itself and this can be seen with the intention in each individual stroke.

everything really is the perfect vessel for any character or personification! does that even make sense?? idk but the style you have is so unmatched and i hope you continue to only run with it !!!

i feel you really hit the nail in the head for the keeping fateful to a reference whilst articulately injecting a unique and striking flare through colouring and shading

it feel systematic, intentional and human.....

idk what this means but it sounds smart or somethin but its how i feel !

man i wish i could have the words to describe how accurate this is whilst still injecting your style in so seamlessly. actually i do. there HOLY FUCK THIS IS AMAZING.

the way you shaded it, added depth, detail is just so unique. the whole approach gives it a graphic, sorta abstract vibe whilst still grounding itself in its source material.

and all the different versions you show allows me to really dig into each LINE

good art is like good cake. LAYERS AND LAYERS OF TASTY GOODNESS.

and this cake is just so fucking scrumptious !!!

this is a crazy af piece and i love it for it !!!

I love your design of Nene, she genuinely looks like one of them innovative pop stars that challenges the status quota, makin' a fashion statement you know???

And through that fashion and the whole magazine aesthetic (that i adore!!) you allowed her character to be better understood.

Energetic obnoxious colours and varying textures really sell her school girl scrap book retro aesthetic with stickers and infomercials, text, fonts etc. !!!

The amount of easter eggs and callbacks are insane and i have to give you props for doing it, is lit !!!

Shading you gave them also rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just love what you did to innovate on a already popular beloved character that keeps what makes her great in a drastically new style !!

If i saw this shiz you already know i would pick it up !!!

love all the pieces here but the first one, i especially like the first one !!!

its real sinister with the monochrome palette but the way you made the piece so engaging to delve into is awesomeeeeee

the background is this realistic, imposing, blocky, fuzzy mess that is just distinguishable from the character in frame. BUT it does this this in such a interesting way !!!

As the painting moves from background to our main focus in frame the strokes and lineart begin to become more clean, bold and feel more intentional, the unique posing of her makes this really apparent as well !!!

The hair adopting that same unpredictable fuzziness and gradient for the shading which is a SUPER cool way of doing it.

Her hands and face are really clean but is kept interesting from the impressive lineart and experimentation of shaping !!!

it embodies the best of a nebulous art piece and I LOVE IT.

what does that mean? idk but this FUCKING ROCKS AND THEY LOOK AWESOME AND I COULD SPEND ALL DAY TELLING YOU WHY BUT YOU KNOW WHY ITS LIT AGHHH

the fact you can have such a simplistic style but cram so much unbelievable looking parts that keep the character easy and clear to read but enthralling to give extra attention to is CRAZY !!!

LOOK at the hair its so intricate and looks so dang comfy
juxtaposing the simplicity so much the drawing also has like the adorable face
idk where to put it but also those hands were drawn amazingly i love the depth on them !!!!

every part here seems so considered, leaning on the best !!!!

but god dang this is so charming and cute how could i NOT exchange insurance !

I’m saving his cooler-moments for in-game. The comics I guess focus more on funny stuff, which is BF being caught in shitty scenarios or bein brain-off mode.

A lot of the latest in-game stuff I’ve made gives him a lotta strut, so I gotchu covered
