i think only using black and white actually worked in your benefit as it really exposes her apparel and hair.

Which I think are really the most stand and cute out parts of the drawing imo

I adore the pose you gave her ! For me, it really reflects a bubbly and colourful personality. Which is a really fun contrast with the monochrome color palette of the drawing !!
